BLAKE MILL ROCKS WITH CULTURAL ICON JOHN ROB IN MANCHESTER, OCTOBER 20
Blake Mill is teaming up with the J.W. Lees Rain Bar for an evening with John Robb, one of Manchester's true cultural icons. Frontman of The Membranes, founder of Louder Than War, and one of our longest-standing brand partners. He'll be talking about this exact corner of Manchester: the ground the Hacienda once stood on, and the building down the road where Oasis, Stone Roses, Joy Division and John's own band used to rehearse, long before any of them were famous. Not music history in the abstract. The specific streets we'll be standing on that night.
6.30pm to 9.30pm, in the function room at Rain Bar, 80 Great Bridgewater Street, Manchester M1 5JG. It's a cash bar on the night, and Rain Bar keeps serving after we finish, so if the conversation runs on, so can you.
We've already got a good number of you booked in, so don't sit on this one. To register, email Sabrina.Balsen@blakemill.com. If you're a Rogues Club member, say so when you RSVP, that'll guarantee your spot. You are also welcome to bring a guest but please do let Sabrina know.
Wear your favourite Blake Mill shirt. If you are feeling really “rock & rollish”, cut the sleeves off like John does! We'll have a photographer and someone filming on the night, and we'll be asking people for their best Blake Mill story, or their best rock and roll story. Both count, so have one ready. By attending, you're agreeing that any photos or footage from the evening may be used by Blake Mill in our own marketing, online and elsewhere.
One more thing worth saying. J.W. Lees's Head of IT and their Production Director are both Blake Mill customers, and both investors in the business. They're the reason we have the room for the night, so if you spot anyone from J.W. Lees, that's who to thank.
Join us for a private and immersive evening in London as we launch our latest collection of shirts and provide a sneak preview into what's in the works.
