The best thing about Blake Mill isn't the shirts. It's the people who wear them.

There is a Blake Mill that doesn't appear in the shop. A small, invite-only group where people who express themselves boldly, through what they wear, turn up - perhaps unsurprisingly - to be equally forthcoming in conversation. Think "speakeasy". Think sharp opinions exchanged over a glass of something decent. Think the kind of room where you leave knowing something you didn't when you walked in.

The membership is deliberately eclectic.

The President of the Nuclear Institute. The man who developed the Champions League brand. A billionaire founder of a UK private equity fund. A PhD building a bioscience company. An independent scholar/bibliographer. A professional chef.

Although Blake Mill is a menswear brand, there are, of course, Rogue women in this group. A few might wear a Blake Mill shirt because they can. Some are artists and others are partners of the man who wears Blake Mill. Gender is not a barrier here.

What The Rogues have in common is not an industry or a postcode. It's a particular kind of curiosity, and a weakness for a bold shirt. Some of them may not have been very cool in school, and are absolutely fine with that now, because they turned out to be considerably more interesting than the cool kids.

They meet. They argue. They learn from each other while rarely turning down the opportunity for a witty, good spirited jab. The shirts are the beginning. The conversation is the point.
