a bit about
Why we're raising
Our ambition is unapologetically bold: to build Blake Mill into a globally recognised fashion brand by 2030. We design premium shirts with unique British flair for successful men over 40 - confident, irreverent, and happy to stand out without making a fuss.
So far, we’ve built a base of over 45,000 enthusiastic customers (60% of sales comes from returning customers), stellar 4.9 ratings on both Google and Trustpilot, and a reputation for shirts that spark conversations (and the odd raised eyebrow). We're now stocked at Wolf & Badger in Soho, London, and our brand ambassadors range from classic car expert Iain Tyrrell to punk rocker John Robb. The UK remains rich with opportunity, but the real prize lies abroad, where British design - served with a dash of dry wit - has huge global appeal.
To seize this moment, we’ve built an advisory board that includes fashion heavyweights Chris Browne (Co-founder of Ted Baker), Sharon O’Connor (former MD of Oasis) and Anthony Cuthbertson (VP Creative Direction & Design, Hugo Boss and formerly Global Creative Director at Ted Baker) as well as Samy Zekhout (former CFO of Gillette, a P&G company).
Together, we’re planning bold new products, sharper marketing, and international expansion. To fuel this growth, we’re raising funds via a convertible loan and inviting you to invest early in a proven brand with big ambitions and the team to deliver.”

SEEDNOTE Frequently Asked Questions
Straight answers to the questions you're probably asking
We're extending our fundraising to build stock ahead of Q4 - our biggest quarter, and the one that sets up 2027, when we expect to start growing internationally. We're doing it through a SeedNote: a loan to the business that earns interest and gives you the option to convert into shares later.
You lend Blake Mill money. It earns 10% a year, compounding annually, until it converts into shares in Blake Mill - automatically, at a 20% discount to whatever the company is valued at when conversion happens. That happens at the latest by the Maturity Date, or earlier if we complete a qualifying funding round, sale, or listing.
The discount is the headline benefit: whenever conversion happens, you get more shares for your money than a new investor coming in at that point would.
Gift card starting at £150 for a £1,000 investment up to £5,000 for a £100,000 investment
Bonus Shares starting 100 shares for a £1,000 investment up to 10,000 shares for a £100,000 investment
Invitation to our exclusive Rogues Club with privileges including guaranteed first access to Blake Mill events, early access to new product drops and the opportunity to participate in product development.
A few things worth knowing. We're now stocked at Wolf & Badger in Soho, London. Our brand ambassadors range from classic car expert Iain Tyrrell to punk rocker John Robb. We've brought on a new lead designer with thirty years' experience, reimagining some of our best-loved past prints and creating a wave of bold new ones. And we're working with independent British artists on our next three collections.
There are plenty of perks that come with this investment, and the Rogues Club is one of the best. As an investor, you'll be invited to join - it's made up of a number of our most enthusiastic customers, from every walk of life. Members get guaranteed places at our events in London and Manchester (soon elsewhere in the UK too), advance notice of new product drops, and a real say in what we design next. Past speakers have included Adrian Bull, President of the Nuclear Institute, Keith Young, who developed the Champions League brand, and eyewear stylist Dan Scott.
We want to be straightforward about this rather than gloss over it: this is an investment in a private company, and like any investment, you could lose some or all of your money. It isn't a savings account, and returns and repayment aren't guaranteed - they depend on Blake Mill continuing to trade successfully.
What we can tell you honestly: your investment isn't priced at today's valuation. It converts at a 20% discount, which builds a real cushion into the numbers from day one. But the underlying risk that the business could fail, like any business, is real. Please only invest what you'd be comfortable not seeing again, and take independent financial advice if you're at all unsure.

Almost entirely inventory - building stock depth ahead of Q4 so we can meet demand across sizes and styles without running out. A smaller portion goes toward new designs and smoothing revenue through quieter months. We're not using this to plug general costs; it's directly tied to the thing that drives more sales.
It's very straightforward. Just email ken.price@blakemill.com with the amount you're considering in the subject line, and we'll have the agreement sent over for you to review (it will come directly from SeedLegals). If you want to go ahead, all it takes is your digital signature and electronic payment.
The Blake Mill brand is wholly owned and operated by Createx Holdings Ltd, a company incorporated in England. There are approximately 150 shareholders in the business comprised of the two original founders (Ken and Steve), board advisors and customers.
Yes, absolutely. You can invest again under the same terms as anyone else. Reach out and we'll get you set up.
Yes, £1,000 is just the minimum, not a cap. Invest whatever you're comfortable with; the perks table above shows what different levels unlock.
We send your gift card as soon as we receive your funds. We'll confirm timing of the shares once your investment is processed. The share issuance is typically done in bulk once the round is complete. If it's taking longer than expected, just ask.
The investment round will remain open to new and existing customers till mid-November or when the goal is achieved, whichever comes first.
No — this SeedNote is not structured to qualify for EIS or SEIS tax relief. If tax treatment is an important factor in your decision, please speak to your own independent tax adviser before investing.
